Jefferson Journal: Health Care Reform That Makes Sense

The federal Certificate of Public Need law was originally intended to control costs by requiring State Health Commissioners to limit the supply of health care. But the law has not succeeded. The federal law was repealed in 1987, and states have been repealing their laws as well. Virginia should be one of them.
