Thomas Jefferson Institute President Mike Thompson, also serving as Special Advisor to Governor Bob McDonnell’s Government Reform and Restructuring Commission, made a powerpoint presentation to the commission’s inaugural meeting June 4. Thompson discussed the history of government reform efforts in Virginia — from Governors Wilder to Warner — and offered ideas for consideration by the current commission.
