Mr. Michael W. Thompson — For over twenty years Mr. Thompson owned his own marketing company in Springfield, Virginia which he sold in late 1995. During eleven of these years he was also president of a family owned group of furniture stores in Georgia. He has been very active in national, state and local politics as well as a number of community organizations, commissions, and committees. He is the Past Chairman of the Virginia Leadership Council for the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) and serves as Vice Chairman of the award-winning Fund for American Studies.

Mr. Randal C. Teague — A Partner in the law firm of Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease, Mr. Teague served as Administrative Assistant to Congressman Jack Kemp. He is currently a noted international attorney who is active with several foundations including the International Foundation for Election Systems, the Fund for American Studies, American Council of Young Political Leaders, and Vote America.

Mr. John Alderson — President of the John Alderson Agency in Daleville, he has built that insurance agency into a well-respected company within the industry and community. Mr. Alderson chaired the Reagan for President campaigns in Virginia and served as Deputy Associate Administrator of the General Services Administration.

Mr. William W. Beach — As Director of the Center for Data Analysis and John M. Olin Senior Fellow in Economics at the Heritage Foundation in Washington, D.C., Mr. Beach is a leading national expert on tax policy at the state level. His experience in the private and non-profit sectors adds to his expertise.

Mr. James Beamer — Mr. Beamer is Managing Director for Legislative Outreach at Dominion Resources Services and one of the highest respected government affairs leaders in Richmond.  He owned a public affairs company for several years prior to joining Dominion Resources.

Mr. W. Stephen Cannon — Partner in Constantine Cannon, PC law firm in Washington DC, and former Senior Vice President and General Counsel of Circuit City Stores, Mr. Cannon is a well-respected business leader in Virginia and nationally

Stephan Q. Cassaday — Founder and President of Cassaday & Company, a nationally recognized wealth management company.  A regular columnist in the Washington Business Journal, Mr. Cassaday has appeared on nearly a dozen national and local TV programs and was among Washingtonian Magazine's 33 "Best Financial Planners" in the greater Washington area.  He is a member of the Radford University Board of Visitors, from which he graduated.

Rebecca Donatelli — President of Campaign solutions/Connell Donatelli.  An online political pioneer, she was the first person to raise political money on the Internet.  The Non Profit Times named her one of the top "12 most powerful women in direct response marketing.  A graduate of the University of Southern California, she spent nine years as a trustee of the George Mason University Foundation.

Mr. James W. Dyke, Jr — A partner in McGuire Woods, one of Virginia's leading law firms, Mr. Dyke is a well-known and respected business leader who served as Secretary of Education in Governor Douglas Wilder's Administration.

B. Keith Fulton — Vice President for Mid-Atlantic Region, Verizon.  Mr. Fulton has been active in the business and technology fields, including the United States Distance Learning Foundation and the AOL Time Warner Foundation, where he has been a strong advocate for national technology initiatives.  He is a member of the Governor's 21st Century Jobs Cabinet

The Honorable John Hager — John Hager is a former Lieutenant. Governor of Virginia.  After an executive career with the American Tobacco Company, Hager served as director of Virginia's homeland security under Governor Jim Gilmore.  He was elected Lt. Governor in 1997 and is believed to be the first disabled individual to serve in an elected statewide office in Virginia.  After serving four years in that position, Hager was appointed Assistant Secretary of the U.S. Department of Education's Office of Special Educatin and Rehabilitation Services, resigning August 1, 2007.

Mr. Robert v. L. Hartwell — President of Hartwell Capitol Consulting LLC, a public affairs firm, Senior Consultant to American Systems International Corporation and former Chief of Staff for two U.S. Congressmen. He has long been active on the local government and community level.

Mr. Alan I. Kirshner — As Chairman and CEO of Markel Corporation in Glen Allen, Mr. Kirshnker has been instrumental in diversifying the insurance company's product line. He is active in the Arabian horse industry, has served as president of the Jewish Community Center and founded and chairs the Partnership for the Future.

Mr. Jay Poole — Mr. Poole is former Vice President, Agriculture Policy and Programs, at Altria Corporate Services (formerly known as Philip Morris Corporation). Mr. Poole has been an active member of the Virginia corporate community.

Mr. Joseph Ragan — As Founder and President of Joe Ragan's Coffee, Mr. Ragan has built his company into one of the largest coffee vendors and office supply firms in the country. He has been active in politics and civic affairs and has held several leadership positions in these activities.

Hon. John Rust — Principal in the law firm of Rust and Rust in Fairfax City, Virginia, Mr. Rust is a former member of the Virginia House of Delegates and is widely acknowledged for his insightful views into Virginia's government. Mr. Rust chairs the Regulatory Reform Commission organized by Attorney General Robert McDonnell.

Mr. John G. Ryan — Former Senior Counsel and Director of Government Affairs for Bristol-Myers Squibb, Mr. Ryan worked for several years in the federal government and in the Congress.

Robert W. Shinn — As President of Public Affairs for Capital Results, Mr. Shinn is responsible for a broad range of client development issues. In the past Mr. Shinn served as Resident Vice President at CSX and Special Assistant to the Secretary of Economic Development. He serves on the Executive Committee of Richmond Renaissance, Richmond AIDS Ministry Board, the Metro-Richmond Chamber of Commerce and the Commission on Re-engineering local government for the City of Richmond.

Dr. Robert F. Turner — A professor at the University of Virginia at Charlottesville, Dr. Turner holds professional and academic doctorates from the University of Virginia School of Law. He is an internationally respected expert on constitutional separation of powers and international law, and is the author or editor of more than a dozen books. He is the co-founder and serves as Associate Director of the Center for National Security Law at the University of Virginia. Dr. Turner is among UVA's most popular professors.

Mr. Robert W. Woltz, Jr — Former President of Verizon-Virginia, Mr. Woltz has been a leader in positioning that company as one of the largest and most technologically proficient in Virginia. He is active in several business and community organizations and served as President of the Virginia Chamber of Commerce in 1999.
